Tracy Colleen McLaughlin is a full time freelance writer and photographer.

For the past 25 years her stories and photographs have run in the Toronto Sun and other Post Media newspapers and websites across Canada. She also writes for television and radio news.

McLaughlin's area of work is courts, crime, legal issues and feature stories. She has covered hundreds of high-profile criminal trials. Over the years of following these cases, she has had a chance to get to know the victims and even the offenders in her cases and her stories strive to give the readers a glimpse of the lives of these real people, the heartbreak they have endured and some of issues in society that may have been triggering factors.

A sampling of her stories, columns and features are on this site, many more can be found on the Toronto Sun website or on her Facebook News Page here:

While the crime stories she covers are tragic, McLaughlin does have a lighter side, and during her time off she is exploring and writing travel articles.
